As a software developer, my limits are constanstly expanding, and my pension for both strategic and creative thinking never have time to dull. From building full-stack apps from the ground up, to maneuvering my way through existing code bases, I have thrived at constructing innovative solutions that provide optimal user experiences on a wide variety of digital projects.

What I bring to the table: a readiness to contribute ideas, an enthusiasm for learning new things, a tenacity when tackling new projects, and a finely-honed sense for organizing work flow. What I take from the table: usually Doritos.

  • Software Developer

    Leo Events (Sept 2020 - Apr 2021)

    Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery & Bootstrap to build web apps for virtual events. Use ReactJS & Firebase (Firestore, Functions, & Hosting) to implement full-stack gamification by using games, quizzes & custom leaderboards to track attendee engagement. Used Shopify to build branded e-commerce site. Deployed a ROKU channel for live-streaming events. Used C# to build ASP.NET API and connected to both GCP & Azure databases. Using React for front-end development of a registration application to be used for live and hybrid events.

    Nashville Software School (Graduation: Aug 2020)

    Intensive full-stack development bootcamp with an immersive agile work environment and an emphasis on team-based development. Client-Side focus in HTML5, CSS3, JS, and React. Server-Side Focus in C#, .NET, JSON, SQL. Proficient in Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Postman, and GitHub. Well-versed in using Git for version control. Applied knowledge interpreting and working with existing code. Full-time remote environment April-August.

    IRevive Health & Wellness (Sept 2017 - Oct 2019)

    Promoted to a new position created to streamline mobile bookings in a clinic focused on intravenous therapy and weight loss. Increased volume and revenue of mobile appointments by 35% and developed rapport with repeat clients. Oversaw patient scheduling and processing, established systems to increase efficiency, and compiled content for office materials.

    Checkbox Concierge (Oct 2016 - Dec 2018)

    Founded a company that provided flexible personal assistant services to multiple clients. Specialized in meal preparation, space organization, budget management, and personal shopping. Developed a network of affiliate partners to provide client discounts in exchange for exlusivity and cross-promotion. Used inbound and outbound marketing strategies to grow client base, and hired and managed a staff of two. Company was featured in July 2017 issue of Nashville Lifestyle Magazine.

    Gordon Estate Winery (Jan 2015 - Oct 2016)

    Managed direct-to-distributor sales in a 15-state territory and increased sales by 20-30% in first year. Conducted market analysis for product viability and launched four new markets in 2016. Negotiated with distributors to implement competitive pricing. Presented at sales meetings, workshops, wine dinners, and other various events. Redesigned retail-based marketing materials, and created a quarterly newsletter communicating updates, initiatives, and sales tips to nationwide sales force.

    Athens Distributing (Jul 2013 - Dec 2014)

    Increased territory sales by 15-20% by expanding company's portfolio presense in Nashville area restaurants. Built relationships with buyers and staff by providing support, training, sales incentives, and prompt service. Created marketing and promotional materials to improve product exposure and consumer demand.
